This weekend was a big weekend. I got to experience my third Taylor Swift concert. Let me tell you, it's something not to be underestimated. While I like to pride myself on enjoying alternative music, tbh I have a soft spot for Tay and all her tunes. She kinda of just speaks to you. My best friend came up from her internship in DC to spend the weekend with and my other bestie Katie. The first night we went to dinner at Dos Caminos and then went to our friends rooftop on the Upper West Side. My outfit is a crop top from Nordstrom and a skirt from Helmut Lang. Shoes not featured are Vince Camuto. On the right is our brunch the next morning at Sarabeths, previously featured here. I got a cheddar omelet add broccoli for some veg. Not featuring was my split side of crispy bacon, nomz. The concert was a amazing. First off, she's just a great perform and knows how to make a crowd of thousands feel like an intimate show. Second, NICK JONAS FRICKIN GUEST SANG. If you don't think we freaked out, you'd be wrong. It was great. Third, I got to sing along to every song with my best friends. And thats the best way to do Taylor. Pretty solid weekend. Until next time Tay :)

Hope y'all had a fun fourth! In a bit of delayed post, I'm sharing pics from my weekend get away to the Hamptons! One of my best friends from college has a house in Sagaponack so her and one of my other besties came out to celebrate our county's independence! A weekend filled with pool time, good food, and sparklers it was a fourthastic weekend. This cookies was an amazing gooey walnut chocolate chip from Levain Bakery, both in the Hampton's and in the city. The burger is from this great place called LT Burger in Sag Harbor. Here's a pic of us at the harbor at sunset. Hopefully going to be coming out here a few more times this summer :)
XOXO // CCC Yesterday a fellow intern and I took our lunch break at a delicious Mediterranean place a couple blocks east of our office. We shared a burrata to start and then I got a a butter lettuce and chicken salad later. I think one of the best things might have been the bread. They brought with it three different olive oils from: Italy, California, and New York. Definitely Nomz worthy.
XOXO // CCC Although this might be one of my least favorite / most cheesy Taylor Swift songs, it captures my first week in the big city well! I'm spending the next two months here in Manhattan doing a wealth management internship. While I'm here I'm living alone in my Uncle's apartment in midtown. This city has everything that I love and more. Good food, fun friends, and exciting adventures. I've already done so much and its only been a week! Lower left is a picture of my friend Greg and I on Saturday night eating at Papatzu in SoHo. Featured is my chicken enchiladas, his pork tacos, and our shared yuca fries. Not featured is the delicious guac that proceeded this. In the lower right is a picture of my brunch earlier that day with my friend Adam! We went to Sarabeth's along 59th across from Central Park. I had a delicious goat cheese, spinach, and avocado omelet with sourdough toast. Would definitely go back here because there was some french toast that I was eying. The top right is a picture of me at a place dubbed the "intern" bar. If you're in college and looking for a fun place to hang any night of the week, I would totally recommend it!
I'll be posting from NYC for the next two months so get ready for more food and fun pictures and places. XOXO // CCC I love being back in my hometown even if it's just for five days! While I'm here however I am determined to eat some of my favorite delicious food. The restaurant for dinner was Mamma Melina's an italian restaurant in the neighborhood around my house. The ice cream cookie is made with my favorite Seattle ice creamery, Molly Moons and fresh cookies at a little store by my high school, Hello Robin. All of it makes you want to say NOMZ.
More from Seattle soon. XOXO // CCC Wow! I can't believe freshman year is over. It went by so fast but I wouldn't change thing. Alright the winter could have been warmer but everything else stays. Saying goodbye to friends was so hard. Unexpectedly hard was packing up my room! Trying to fit all of this into boxes, yikes. How sad does that look? Definitely not as cozy. Now I'm headed back to Seattle for five days before I start my internship in New York City. So excited to be going home to see the fam bam. Definitely going to miss this pretty campus though. But I'm sure I'll be back before I know it. XOXO // CCC
A "Nomz Edition" is going to encompass food highlight posts! Basically, I want it to be a post series where I mention where I ate the food, Hanover in this edition, and what I had. This sandwich consisted of turkey, cheddar, lettuce, bacon, apple, avocado on white sourdough. Doesn't that make you want to say "NOMZ"!!? Two more finals to go, so we had to take a little break and eat away the pain. Nothing like a sunny June lunch at a cafe in town, Umpelbys, to cheer you up! Very ready for summer though.
XOXO // CCC One of our best friend's Pooja, the beauty in the floral dress, is a part of the Hillwinds Society at Dartmouth. Its an alumni relations group that happened to have a formal. She got three invites, which was perfect for us! Who doesn't love an excuse to dress up? Certainly not me. I actually recently got my ears pierce, late I know. So yesterday was the first time I got to change my earrings! My mommy got these for my 19th birthday. I love them. I think it's a hard balance with matchy-ness and jewelry. But I think two pieces works. Either a neckless-earrings, earrings-ring, ect. More than two can become a little too much in my opinion. The shoes are Dolce Vita. A couple of years old but a classic pop that I like to pull out from time to time. Its also always a fun time tower in 3 1'2 inches on top of my 5'7. I picked up this dress at Zara when I was in Lyon, France a two springs ago. The deeper v is a little risky for me, but I like that the dress isn't too short and a high back, so it is kind of counter acted.
Finals are starting up this week and then its summer! Can't believe it. XOXO //CCC *Since the dress and shoes are older seasons I just linked to the brand's websites The Saturday of Green Key was a little more chill, I think people were tired after three crazy days. I'm sure you've seen the sweeping trend of "flash tats". Basically this igneous marking idea consists of selling shining temporary tattoos with a style intent. They were all the rage this Green Key. Unclear if its a trend like the feather in the hair circa 2011 or if its here to stay longer. But my gut tells me its here for summer and then will wash away just like the tat. However, it was a super fun second accessory for the weekend. You can see me and my friends wearing them on all aspect of our bodies in the picture below. Hat: J-Crew Dress: TopShop -borrowed from my friend Katie Bralette: Madewell Shoes: Sam Edleman You might be wondering, was it too late in the season to wear a felt hat? Unclear. I had the same question myself. The truth is I searched and searched for the perfect straw hat but just couldn't find one online or in the stores in town I liked enough. So I got this hat on sale instead. I think it worked with the dress...indie enough? I enjoy trying on other styles even if the flow-y flowery look isn't my normal thing. DJ's Gazzo and Elephante played Saturday afternoon and night. Both awesome, and a great way to end a crazy fun weekend. Hope everyone is enjoying this long weekend!

Of the three headliners, I LOVED Misterwives the most, although the other two were great! The lead for Misterwives I now have a serious girl crush on. Check out my new fav song of theirs here, there's a solid feminist message // just good jams. Stay tuned for Saturday excitement and outfit :)
