Hello! As the front page says, my name is Madison Hope. Originally born in Atlanta, Georgia, I moved to Seattle, WA when I was four. While Seattle’s my home, my southern roots have definitely influenced my sense of style and personal loves.
Fashion is important to me as a form of self-expression, art, and fun. I interned for Theory my sophomore summer of high school in NYC, did BP Nordstrom Fashion Board all through high school, as well as founded and led my high school’s fashion club. I believe everybody feels better in the perfect outfit. While its what’s on the inside that matters, a good look can give anybody the confidence to bring that inner beauty to the surface.
Another purpose of this blog is travel. My parents have a love of travel that they have fostered in me. I’ve been fortunate to travel to over 20 countries, 4 continents, and 37 states. As I look towards my next four years in college, I hope to document my family's trips abroad as well as my study abroad programs.
Finally, food. I wouldn’t say I’m a “food-y”. However, I appreciate delicious cuisine as much as the next girl. In particular, I have a serious sweet tooth. I hope to document my munchies that I enjoy across the globe here as well.
One more thing, the name of my blog is derived from the expression "curiosity killed the cat". For me, curiosity is what drives my life. Why not ask questions about everything you see? Exploring and wondering is what enables us to grow. The thirst for knowledge and understanding can only be "cured" through having the courage to discover. I hope to embrace one of my most predominate character traits using this blog as a platform to express what I find.
